Samsung launched the Galaxy A8+, along with the smaller Milky way A8, earlier this year as a premium mid-range offering. It was the start Galaxy A serial phone to sport an Infinity display and dual-cameras on the front end. Until the launch of the Galaxy A8 Star, it was Samsung'southward pinnacle-of-the-line midrange smartphone, sitting but below the flagship models both in terms of price and features. The title now goes to the recently launched Galaxy A9 (2018), and unlike the Galaxy A8+, it even boasts features that are not seen on the company's flagship models.

The A8+ boasts a dual-photographic camera setup on the front for selfies, while the Milky way A9, despite sporting a quad-camera arrangement on the back, comes with only a single selfie camera.
